On the 25th of January, Student’s Day, also known as Tatiana’s Day in Russia, will be celebrated. The history of this holiday is connected with Empress Elizabeth who endorsed petition about the establishment of the first university in Russia, Moscow in 1755.

This date wasn’t chosen by chance. In the Russian Orthodox Church, January 25th is celebrated as Tatiana’s Day, dedicated to St Martyr Tatiana. As the day of universities matches the day of this Saint, St Tatiana became a patron saint of students, who oversees and protects them throughout the country.

The day is coming, so let’s have a look, what type of student you are.
