“Kept men: a choice or necessity” (worksheet)

“Kept men: a choice or necessity” (worksheet)

It used to go without saying that only men could be breadwinners. Some decades ago women started to compete with men in all aspects of life: they became economically active, they started to take important political decisions, they run international corporations. All these aspects affect contemporary society when men are not keen on earning money and climbing the career ladder. For some men, it is quite easier to attract women’s attention and get easy money. Society structure has radically changed and men are not as strong as they used to be. Partially it is the fault of women who wanted to run neck and neck with men. Consequences could be really destructive. This worksheet will help your students learn more about this tendency, they will expand their vocabulary on this topic, develop their listening and reading skills and, of course, they will practise speaking for fluency.
