Reading broadens one’s mind, enlarges vocabulary, improves pronunciation and speaking skills. However, not all students are fond of reading activities. They sometimes find them quite boring. How to motivate them to read books, how to make it an entertaining activity? Taking into consideration the great importance of reading books in primary school, we have prepared a presentation on the story “Why the sun and the moon live in the sky?”
The latter belongs to the rank of the so-called “How and why” stories. Since children are very curious about different things and always ask questions, like “Why are the trees green?”, “How can birds fly?”, etc., these stories will help them “to find out” the keys to these questions and have lots of fun. The presentation is designed for elementary students. Here is the link to the tale.
