Чтобы ученик запомнил урок перед каникулами и захотел снова продолжить обучение после перерыва, важно, чтобы занятие было ярким, несложным и интересным. Предлагаем вашему вниманию план урока перед каникулами.
Цель урока: повысить мотивацию учеников продолжать занятия после каникул и/или заниматься на каникулах.
Задачи урока:
- повторить лексику по темам «Спорт», «Хобби», «Летний отдых»;
- развивать навык чтения и говорения;
- создать интересную дискуссию о каникулах на уроке.
План урока:
- Warm up (Начало урока).
- Lead in.(Введение в ход урока).
- Take up a new sport. (Повторение лексики по теме «Спорт»).
- Let’s play basketball now!
- Take up a new hobby.
- Holiday activities.
- Speaking.
1. Warm up (Начало урока).
Используем игру «Ассоциации», ученикам нужно предложить прилагательные, которые описывают лето.
1. Write as many adjectives to the word “summer” as you can.
Example,
summer is incredible, magnificent, wonderful, long-awaited, etc.
2. Для учеников более высокого уровня предложим назвать прилагательные, начинающиеся на ту же букву, что и слово «лето».
Write as many adjectives to the word “summer”, starting with “S”, as you can.
Example,
summer is superb, specific, sweet, short, etc.
2. Lead in. (Введение в ход урока).
Летом у нас всегда больше времени, чем в течение учебного года. Представьте, что для вас время не ограничено, и вы можете попробовать что-то новое. Предложим ученику пофантазировать и обсудить, что мы можем делать в свободное время.

Results:
Mostly A. You are an active person. You love sport and look for new challenges. Try up jogging if you haven’t done it yet or take a look at speed running, athletics, skiing or snowboarding. Martial arts or sport dancing can also be interesting and useful for you. Try and don’t stop!
Mostly B. You are a coach-lover. You don’t like being disturbed while reading, playing computer games or watching your favourite film. Remember, sport and spending time outdoors are vital for health. Try up walking, cycling or riding a scooter in a beautiful park or in the countryside. You can also like playing golf, cricket or “gorodki”. You can definitely start with training in a gym, with a trainer it will be more useful.
Mostly C. You don’t mind being outdoors but have a lot of other hobbies. You can choose any sport and it is even better if you try up a lot different ones. Start with buying a new gorgeous track suit and then try up playing tennis or badminton. You can also have training in a gym, it can be in a group (“Pilates”, for example) or individually. Then you can start running, playing volleyball or cycling.

4. Let’s play basketball now!

3. Why is the ball orange?

4.3. Let’s play. Instructions:
- Put a box (it’s going to be our “basket”) about three metres (three very big steps) away from you.
- Take a small ball or crumple a sheet of paper to make a “ball” out of it.
- Try to throw the “ball” into the “basket”.
- If your “ball” is in the “basket”, you have a score! Congratulations! If not, you need to name three types of sport.
- Continue playing for 3 minutes. What is your score?
5. Take up a new hobby.
Летом интересно заниматься не только спортом, но и любым другим увлечением, особенно, если во время учебы на него не хватало времени. Предложим ученику выбрать новое увлечение.
5.1 Match the hobbies to their definitions.

4.2. Plan how many times you would like to swim, visit your grandparents, go to a cinema, go dancing, read a book, do your hobby or just sleep all day, etc., according to your plan.
4.3. If you can plan it now, write the activities in particular dates.
