25 заданий по теме «Christmas and New Year»: интерактивные, разговорные, на проверку знаний за год обучения

Чтобы уроки в конце года оставались продуктивными и вовлекающими, нужно ещё больше включать в них интерактив. Мы подготовили 25 заданий, которые не только помогут выполнить эту задачу со звёздочкой, но и станут отличным способом вспомнить пройденный материал. Задания подойдут подросткам и взрослым с уровнем Intermediate и выше.

Объяснение игры

В начале урока покажите фотографию и объясните ученикам значение цифр на ней. Под каждым номером кроется задание: 10 из них интерактивные, другие 10 — короткие разговорные задания, и ещё 5 показывают результаты обучения за год. Учащимся нужно вращать колесо и выполнять упражнения под номерами.

Look at the picture. What do you see? There is a task under each number. Ten of them are interactive, and ten more of them are short speaking tasks. The other five numbers show your results of the year.

Spin the wheel. Read and complete the task under the number that you get.

1. Name three things people eat at Christmas and New Year

Дождитесь ответа и обсудите, есть ли у учеников любимое праздничное блюдо. Также можно попросить назвать все ингредиенты из его состава и выбрать самый главный, без которого блюдо нельзя будет приготовить.

• Do you have a favourite Christmas/New Year dish? 
• Name all ingredients. Which of them can’t be missed? 

2. Interactive game: Comparative adjectives 🧩

Предложите вспомнить правила образования сравнительной степени, дайте ученикам время выполнить задание и обсудите вопросы в конце. 

3. Think of three ways to recycle or reuse Christmas trees / wrapping papers / unwanted presents

Выберите одну из тем (Christmas trees / wrapping papers / unwanted presents) и вместе с учениками подумайте над способами переработки. После этого можете спросить: 

• Which things do you think have the worst effect on the environment? (Можете дать ещё несколько примеров: Christmas cards / packaging / decorations / overconsumption of food / throwing out of old things that Christmas presents have replaced.)
• How could we cut down on those things?

4. Interactive game: A letter to your future self 🧩

Откройте сайт FutureMe и спросите, писали ли когда-нибудь ученики письмо себе в будущее. Исходя из ответа выберите статью на сайте. Например, если ученики никогда раньше не делали это, откройте «Why should I write a letter to my future self?»

После чтения ученики могут приступить к написанию письма. Вместе проверьте ошибки, решите, через сколько времени они хотели бы получить это письмо обратно как напоминание, и отправьте его.

5. Your student’s achievement in English: Grammar

Вместе с учениками обсудите пройденный путь. Коротко расскажите, чего они достигли в грамматике. 

6. Sing a short Christmas or New Year song

Выберите любимую или известную тематическую песню. Сначала включите её без субтитров и после того, как послушаете, спросите у учеников, о чём песня. Затем откройте текст песни, разберите припев и спойте.

Wrapping papers: use old wrapping paper to wrap new gifts, transform wrapping paper into fun arts and crafts, check with your local recycling programme to see if they accept wrapping paper.

Unwanted presents: donate unwanted gifts to local shelters, organize a gift exchange with friends or family, turn unwanted gifts into something new.

9. Name three Christmas traditions: putting up a Christmas tree, kissing under the mistletoe, singing Christmas carols.
