Philosophy for a happy life (Worksheet for Intermediate+ level)
Loads of definitions have been given to happiness and a happy life. Many philosophers and psychologists have always been claiming that they know the key to a happy life. Sam Berns, then a 17-year-old teenager, who had progeria (an extremely rare autosomal dominant genetic disorder in which symptoms resembling aspects of aging are manifested at a very early age) delivered his speech on TED Talks “unfolding” the concept of a happy life and expressing his philosophy on it. We have designed a lesson plan on this TED Talk, which will help your students to enlarge their vocabulary, to practise listening and speaking skills and hold debates with their classmates.
